Support Your Volunteer Fire Department — $35 a Year

 If HVFD responds to a call at your address and you're not subscribed, you'll receive a bill for that response afterward. Depending on the incident, that bill can run into the thousands of dollars — which is why most residents find it easier to subscribe for $35 a year up front. 

No this is not an insurance for your home and/or it belongings

 Yes. HVFD is a 501(c) nonprofit, and your $35 annual subscription is tax-deductible. 

 $35 a year works out to less than $3 a month. It's one of the main ways we fund equipment, training, fuel, and repairs, since county funding only covers part of our budget. 

 Your subscription covers any HVFD emergency response to your home and everyone living there — including fires, water rescue, vehicle accidents, and search and rescue. 

 Yes — your subscription also covers your vehicle anywhere within our response area, not just at your home address. 

 It is the responsibility of the property owner to pay for subscription services. This includes rental properties such as short term and long term rental homes, cabins, storage buildings, RV parks, Marinas, motels, and campgrounds. These are paid through the commercial subscription form.

Your subscription is tied to your address, if you move, you'll need to contact us to update the address in the system so that you remained covered. 

Subscriptions are renewed annually, with the date listed on checkout.
