Our firefighters are trained for many different types of rescue, to help our community. This includes water rescue, wildland search and rescue, and vehicle extrication.

HVFD is prepared to face any emergency we face in our beautiful waterways. With our type V marine firefighting/water rescue boat, The Blansett, we cover three quarters of the Tennessee River Gorge and all of Nickajack lake.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: $35 SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE
March 1st of 2023 Haletown Fire Department enacted a subscription-based service to help close our funding gap.
Our goal for this inexpensive service is to collect $35 a year from each of our residents. Learn more about this by clicking below:
Your $35 subscription covers any cost for calls to your address for one year. Residents who are not subscribed will receive a bill when we are called. Please subscribe and help us help you.
